Maintenance Schedule: The hardware
and software used to support the Palomar College information systems
infrastructure requires maintenance on a continuous basis. The Information
Services (IS) maintenance guidelines are as follows:

The Palomar College eServices
system requires routine maintenance weekly and is NOT available from
Sunday 10pm to Monday 6am. Otherwise it is available 24 hours a day.

In order to minimize overtime
cost to the district and inconvenience to system users, IS may perform
maintenance during the following periods: 5pm to 7am on weekdays, and on
weekends and holidays.

If maintenance requires a system
to be unavailable, IS will schedule the work during the following
periods: 12midnight to 6am on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays.
Affected system users will be notified in advance when a system is
scheduled to be unavailable.

In the event of an emergency, it
may be necessary to disable services during work hours. Whenever
possible, IS will notify affected users in advance.
